University Business Plan Competition Update The ILBIF facilitated the Midwest Venture Summit’s Illinois University Business Plan Competition for the last two years. With the support of a team from the Northern Illinois Technology Enterprise Center (NITEC), a division of Northern Illinois University Outreach, each university start-up company receives coaching on their business plans and presentations. NITEC supports entrepreneurs in early-stage and existing companies develop clear paths to technology commercialization. Congratulations to all of this year’s University Participants.
